Residual current operated circuit breaker (RCBO) with characteristic C, designed for protection of electrical circuits from overcurrents and earth leakage currents in residential and household networks.
Main Parameters:
- Nominal Current: 16 A
- Configuration: 1 pole + neutral (1+N)
- Nominal Residual Operating Current: 30 mA
- Type of Operating Characteristic: A (sensitive to alternating and direct sinusoidal residual current)
- Nominal Breaking Capacity: 10 kA
- Series: B
Purpose:
The circuit breaker is designed for simultaneous protection against overloads, short circuits, and dangerous leakage currents. Characteristic C provides tripping when the nominal current is exceeded by 5-10 times from the set value, which allows the use of the device in circuits with elevated inrush currents.
Application:
Optimal for protection of individual groups of consumers in single-phase networks at 230 V voltage, including protection of portable and stationary electrical appliances in conditions of high humidity and risk of electrical shock.
